City and Local Excursions:

Experience Shanghai (Duration: approximately ½ day)


Jade Buddha

Setting out from the lobby of the Grand Hyatt Hotel after lunch, you will visit the Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Garden and Old Street. After an early supper, you will be entertained by an acrobatic display - a traditional entertainment in China. As you return to the Hotel, you can observe the magnificently lit Bund and cityscape by night.
Cost: US$40 per person (including bus, tour guide, admission tickets, supper)

 

Shopping in Shanghai (Duration: approximately full day)

Setting out from the Grand Hyatt Hotel after breakfast, you will visit Binjiang Avenue, the Bund, a silk exhibition and a carpet factory. From there on to Old Street, duty free shopping center and Xiangyang Road. After some leisure time in Xintiandi, return to the Hotel for a well earned rest! Cost: US$18 per person (including bus, tour guide, admission tickets, lunch)

Shanghai Museum Tour (Duration: approximately full day)

Shanghai has an impressive range of Museums that offer a detailed insight into the history and culture of this truly historic city. Departing from the lobby of the Grand Hyatt Hotel after breakfast, you will visit People's Square, the Shanghai Museum and the City Urban Planning Centre. After a traditional lunch you will visit the Science and Technology Museum, finishing up at the Shanghai History Museum.

Cost: US$38 per person (including bus, tour guide, admission tickets, lunch)

 

Zhouzhuang, Daguan Garden (Duration: approximately full day)

Zhouzhuang bridge

After breakfast, you will go to Zhouzhuang, the Venice of China - a town built on water. Your tour will include visits to Zhang Hall, Shen's House and Wilder Tower. After lunch, you will go to Daguan Garden, a traditional masterpiece South of Changjiang River, returning to the Grand Hyatt Hotel in the late afternoon.

Suzhou (Duration: approximately full day)


Suzhou Tiger Hill

 

Setting out from the lobby of Grand Hyatt Hotel after breakfast, you will visit Tiger Hill, with its 1,000 year old pagoda and Lingering Garden-a historic clasical garden - and Cold Mountain Temple. The tour will visit the Suzhou Silk Factory before returning to Shanghai in the early evening.

Extended Excursions:

Hangzhou (Duration: approximately two days)

Hangzhou 3 Pools

Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang province and is one of the most important tourist cities in China, famous for its natural beauty and historical and cultural heritage. Your tour will include a visit to West Lake, Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, Su Bank and The Broken Bridge. Then on to Tiger-Running Spring and Longjing Tea village. Lingyin Temple and Flying Stone, observe fish in flower port as well as City sightseeing.

Cost: US$68 per person (including four-star accommodation and food, bus, tour guide, admission tickets)

 

Yellow Mountain (Duration: approximately 3 days)

Yellow MountainTake a flight from Shanghai to the famous Yellow Mountain, situated in the southern part of Anhui Province. Among the 72 large and small mountain peaks and ridges, lakes, brooks, deep pools and waterfalls can be found everywhere. You can watch the sun rise and set in Paiyun Pavilion and experience the spectacular Tiandou peak and waterfalls. You will visit the beautiful mountain city of Tunxi and have a chance to shop among the stalls on Ancient Street that sell antiques and knick-knacks.

Cost: US$316 per person (including four-star accommodation and food, bus, tour guide, admission tickets)

Xi'an (Duration: approximately 3 days)

Xi'an

Depart for Xi'an by air from Shanghai and visit the eighth wonder of the world-The Terracotta Army. Enjoy the rejuvenating Huaqing hot springs and partake in a delicious dumpling dinner. The tour will also visit important monuments such as the Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the most famous in China, and the old Bell Tower. You can walk along the City Wall- the oldest intact city perimeter wall in China and see the Forest of Steles, a collection of manuscripts with roots back to the beginning of written language.

Beijing (Duration: approximately 3 days)

BeijingDepart for Beijing by air and visit the many sights of China's capital city. Walk on the Great Wall, then visit The Emperor Ding Mausoleum and Tian'anmen Square. Your trip will also include the Forbidden City, Summer Palace and the Heaven Altar. Go Shopping in Wangfujing Avenue and watch the flag-raising Ceremony.

Cost: US$357 per person (including four-star accommodation and food, bus, tour guide, admission tickets)
